For the House -Wallpaper or Paint?
For the office or workplace, there are various factors that led to a good working environment. One of them is the interior. For this purpose, there are the options of paint, and wallpaper for each office owners to choose from.
Paint
Traditional, classic, and economical, paint is the most common choice for almost everyone, when it comes to giving their office a new wash. Nowadays, paints for interior come in different forms and variety-satin gloss, matte, pearl-glo, you name it. Colors ranged from the common pastel hues and whites, to shocking tones of lime green or orange; even gold.Paint is one of the easiest to apply and the most cost effective to apply. For a small office, it will take less than a day to have the paintjob completed. For dramatic effects, stencil, sponging or foiling are the common techniques used. A painted surface is durable and is easy to clean.
Wallpaper
In the past, wallpapers are avoided due to the fact that they peel easily and are costly. Now, wallpapers come in a wide range of materials – vinyl, fabric, grass cloth, foil, as well as different types of paper. Unlike paints, which only come in one single hue, a piece of wallpaper has a design mural of different colors; which might help for a designer-type interior.Wallpaper is not as easy to clean, or easy to apply as paint. Some might also be difficult to remove for some. However, for Feng Shui, wallpapers are actually a great help. When to use which?
That will depend largely on each person’s preference and the purpose. A combination of wallpaper and paint can bring out the best effects of an interior as well, so there is no limit as to when and which one, as long as it suits your own choice.For the common area of the office, a paintjob in neutral colors will be preferable, for long-lasting and being easy to clean. For personal offices (e.g. the manager’s own office), wallpapers can be used, especially if the person wants to improve his workplace feng shui.
